Operation White Spear — NGE Blew Up Starkiller (Before You Played)

NI 20-22 / ABY 30-32. New Order built a planet-killer in the Unknown Regions. NGE destroyed it. New Republic still hates them for it.

"We will not allow another Palpatine to build another Death Star. We own our original sin. Galactic Star is not a weapon for terror, but it is a shield against those who would make one." — Empress, post White Spear address on Galactic Star

What It Was — New Order

After Endor, dozens of warlord factions claimed legitimacy. One in Unknown Regions went full cosplay: New Order (First Order analogue, self-chosen name). White armor, black palettes, shouting purity, Palpatine legacy.

How NGE Found It

Official NGE statement: "Long-range Imperial scouts detected anomalous stellar mass movements and hyperspace disturbances in the Unknown Regions. Investigation confirmed weaponized stellar extraction." No further details released. Full operational records remain classified.

What is public: New Republic was not patrolling Unknown Regions. Senate focused on internal politics and demilitarization. Several senators dismissed early warnings as "Imperial propaganda." Empress ruled Starkiller could not be allowed to fire — both as moral line and political reality. If New Order fired, galaxy would blame "Empire weapon."

Battle — NI 21 — Public Record

1. Arrival — Galactic Star hyper-jumped into system with elements of the Great White Fleet — 12-20 White Star Destroyers, pearlescent white with gold trim, support carriers, fighter wings.
2. Demand — Galactic Star broadcast: "We are New Galactic Empire. You are an illegal warlord per Galactic Charter. No Emperor title exists. Surrender weapon or be destroyed. Five minutes."
3. New Order fires — Supreme Leader refused. Drained star, fired Starkiller beam at Galactic Star.
4. Galactic Star holds — Galactic Star's defensive systems absorbed direct hit from Starkiller. Shields held. Station shuddered. No further technical details released.
5. White Fleet spreads — White Star Destroyers engaged Resurgent-class destroyers, gravity-well ships pinned retreat.
6. Return fire — Galactic Star returned fire and cracked Starkiller's planetary crust. Internal star-energy containment failed.
7. Boarding — Imperial Knights and boarding teams assaulted surface installations. No quarter for officers who refused surrender after firing on Galactic Star.
8. Detonation — Starkiller destabilized, star energy detonated, wiped New Order fleet and shipyards in orbit.

Public Knowledge

  • Veterans talk about "when the Star ate a sun-gun." No official footage released.
  • Great White Fleet went from rumor to legend overnight — feared by warlords, loved by Outer Rim who saw NGE actually stop a planet-killer while NR debated.
  • Starkiller debris field — still hot, star energy discharge, kyber shards, radiation. Off-limits per NGE quarantine, but pirates, scavengers, NR covert ops, and NGE patrols all operate there.
  • New Order Remnant as villain — your "Vengeful" Arquitens or Moff could claim New Order lineage.

What Is NOT Public (Do Not Tell Players)

  • How NGE actually found it — intel source still classified.
  • What Galactic Star actually is — specs, weapons, power source, why it survived a Starkiller hit.
  • Why New Republic missed it — which senators were bribed or compromised.
  • Whether Supreme Leader survived.
